Wireless internet access

I have a Dell laptop Inspiron 7200 running XP Professional through a Terayon
(TJ110) cable modem into a Microsoft modem (MN 700), and into a Linksys
Network Access Point (WAP 11). The wireless card is a WPC 54G. I get
excellent signal strength from the computer to the router but no internet
connectivity. I use WLAN and put in the proper network key code.
Occasionally it works for ???reason. Any help in having it connect every
time!!
