Wireless Intellimouse Problem

The mouse works after I Plug it in to any USB port (The
reciver). However, when I reboot the computer or
Shutdown then restart later on, the mouse is dead untill
I unplug it and plug it back in; then it begins to work
again.

Any help would be welcomed.

that mouse should have a (green?) USB to PS2 adaptor. Connect that to the
cable and then to your computers ps2 input.
