Wireless Home Networking of Windows 2000 & Windows XP

I have two machines one has Windows 2000 Professional and
the other has Windows XP installed on it. I also have
Linksys Wireless G USB adapter on Windows XP & Wireless
Machine having Wireless card with B technology. Now Iam
able to use internet with my DSL cable attached to
Wireless G Router and they both seem to work fine.

What I am trying to do is use these two machines talk to
each other and also share Printer that is attached to Win
XP machine via Laptop that has Wireless adapter card.

Iam not able to network these two machines together. Can
anybody give me the steps of how to configure these two
machines so that they can see each other on Windoex XP
network. Since the Disk that is created by Windows XP
cannot be run on Windows 2000 Professional. I have to do
this manually.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I know the default workgroup name is different on the two OS's. Prior to
XP and, I believe ME, MS used "WORKGROUP" then switched to "MSHOME" (the
last may not be exact, doesn't matter though). The point is they have to
match or they are on different networks, simular to having different IP
subnet masks. To get started check properties on My Computer-Network
Identification or in Control Panels -System -Network Identification.

Good luck
