Wireless Connection

I'm using Xp professional and my computer locks up when
installing a wireless pmcia card. I do not have the
wireless connection in the network connection folder ...
am I missing something?

try going into safe mode by hitting F10 after the bios
screen. continue installation from there. reboot.
