After my computer restarted from hibernate the wireless
network shows as "unavailable" on a Dell Inspiron 600m.
I've spoken to Dell and to Linksys and neither can find a
solution. The Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 810020
seems to correctly describe a solution and indicates a fix
for this is available by contacting Microsoft. But my
Product ID # is OEM and I can't contact Microsoft
directly. Does anyone know about this fix and how I can
locate it.

Greetings Kendall,

Your primary support is the OEM, or in your case it's Dell. Ask Dell first
for your concern. I don't see a problem for you getting the hotfix from
Microsoft. If Dell says to contact Microsoft, then tell your story that is
desribed in the KB Article 810020. When you do contact Microsoft, only tell
them what is described in that article only, don't ask for any other
questions, and see if they will drop the charges.

Just so you know, the fix will be available in the next service pack
whenever it becomes available. It is expected to be released this month.
