New Acer Aspire 4810T. UPC Cable modem, Dlink DIR300 router
Reset both the above. Disabled sleep control on wireless adaptor. IvP6 protocol unticked.
Narrowed it down to this, I think
When setting security settings on the router page. The confirmation and reboot page times out.
In Vista when the connection drops I have to search for my network, right click, OK the security and connect.
Is it Vista having problems handshaking, as it were, with security.
Also my security say WEP open with a key. Is is secure?
