Wireless card disabled on boot

Hi,

I've just installed a wireless network card in my Win2K Pro box.

Unfortunately it seems that Windows is starting up with the card disabled
which is preventing me from logging on to my domain (I have to login locally
and then enable the network card to get connectivity - this is a pain
because I have to duplicate all the user names on the local PC.

Is there any way to have this card enabled at startup?

Thanks

Check Event Viewer for errors. Check Device Manager for stop codes and or
errors.

This could be a problem caused by the card driver itself. I recently
installed an SMC wireless PCMCIA adapter. While it was not
disabled on boot up, it still required several manual klicks before
it would make a connection. I then replaced it with a DLink
AirPlus adapter. It establishes a connection very early at boot
time, long before the desktop is ready.

Thanks guys,

It looks like it was an incompatibility with the mobo chipset (was the only
thing the manufacturers support could suggest). I've replaced it with a
different card and problem is no more
