Wireless broadband

Greg

Hi
I'm running xp pro on a dell latitude d800
Just bought a d-link DI 714P+ and no problem with the
ethernet cable but can't get the wireless bit to work.
I suspect I have stuffed up with the network bridges or
something - there is 1394, LA Connection, Network Bridge
and MAC Bridge.
Every time I try to enable the network bridge it
returns "connection failed"
Any help v much appreciated.

you dont need the bridge. you can delete them. A bridge
is used to connect two or more separate networks
together. If you are using one home network, delete the
bridges

if you are still having problems with the di-714p+ and you have
firmware 1.23 do a reverse upgrade to rel 1.22. I couldn't keep my
wireless network up for more than 20 minutes with 1.23 but so far with
1.22 it seems to be ok
