wiping out harddrive

I have XP home edition and I want to wipe out my
computers hard drive and reload everthing. I cannot
fiqure out how to dump it. In windows 98 you start in dos
and dump from there but you cannot do that inb XP,
please advise

just boot from your XP cd

when you go to reinstall, you will have the option to format the drive
