wiped disk and reloaded XP - Display not working

I can only get 16 bits. Can anyone help? I am sure it is
a step that I am missing since I reinstalled the intel
driver but I am not seeing it. Thanks for any suggestions
or advice in advance.
 
You have to reinstall the video card drivers and the monitor's drivers.
