Don

I placed a 10meg wav file in Windows that I want to play
when Windows starts up. When windows starts, the wav file
plays about halfway through and then shuts off. Is there
a way to extend the time or something so that this file
will play through. I used this setup on my old computer
under WinMe without any problem.
Thank You,
Don

Hi Don,

It has to do with size rather than length. Use as an example this .wav
stopped at 13 seconds.

A .wav encoded at CD quality (44kHz, 16-bit stereo), size 5.21MB, plays for
13 seconds. Saved at radio quality (22kHz, 8-bit mono), size 668KB, plays
in full.
