WinXP SP2 System Restore errors on launch

I can't turn ON or OFF restore or reset to a restore point since I get this
error immediately... What shuld i do to resolve this errror:

AppName: rstrui.exe AppVer: 5.1.2600.2180 ModName: srrstr.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00009826

How to reinstall System Restore in Windows XP?:

Note that reinstalling System Restore will purge *all* existing restore points.
