WinXP self-turnon/off

Every few minutes windows xp turns my computer off and then back on
automatically. the message says that it's checking file system on C: FAT32.
A disk needs to be checked for consistency. Vol. Serial #OBD6-4543, windows
verifying files and folders. my system is only about 1-1/2 yrs old, incl. HD
and XP.
PLEASE HELP!!!

could you please let me know how to fix this problem as my system is doing
the same as per below except for the vol Serial # is 2F59-12D9 & my system is
only 12months old.
