Does anybody know of a way to retrieve the product key from a "valid"
Windows XP installation?

I was on with Microsoft support today and they only thing they had to offer
was for me to go into the registry and change a single value in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents.
This was supposed to "unregister" WinXP but it didn't.

I was at a customer site and they didn't write down which key went with
which system. Fortunately I was able to select the correct product key of
the 10 available ( I think my poker playing has a lot to do with this kind
of luck ).

Anyway, I've run into this situation before, so any help would be greatly
appreciated.
