winxp pro Vs winxp home

I've a pc with winxp home and i want to upgrate to winxp pro without lose my
files-programms and settings.

Please help me.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

Check that your modem will still function with Win XP Pro. I recently bought
a laptop that had Win XP Home. I installed Win XP Pro and the modem would no
longer work. After talking with the laptop manufacturer tech service, I
discovered the modem was not compatible with Win XP Pro. I had to return the
laptop.
