WinXP Pro SP1 Not finding SP1 files

I have WinXP Pro w/SP1 disc and it's a copy that I had installed on a PC that
I'm now replacing for years. I've reinstalled it multiple times, always with
this same disc. I put this into my new PCs drive and all of a sudden it says
it can't find an SP1 file that it needs to do the install. What is going on
here and how exactly can I fix it?

Does no one have any idea? I don't have IE (nor can I install it from an
..exe that I bring over), I don't have Media Player, I can't do a /renew on
ipconfig (it'll do a /release, but can't find the file to do the renew). I'm
at wits end here. Please help! :\.
