Winxp log on

IN win xp home the computer is logging on then
automatically logs off straight away. The desktop appears
for about a second. It has mulitiply user accounts and
when log in as administrator in safe mode it also does the
same thing. Anyone with a solution please help.....

Simon;
Reboot to the menu to select Safe Mode.
Instead select "Last known good configuration"

If that fails, try a Repair Installation:

Windows Updates and Service Pack will need to be reinstalled.
