WinXP Home or Pro ?

Disregarding all the other pro's and con's does the Home version support and
make use of dual-core processors? I can't find anything that explicitly
states it does or does not.

All versions of Windows XP support dual-core CPUs equally as well.

Thanks for such a quick response. I had read on the MS site that one of the
features of Pro is "scaleable processors" but that is not stated for the
Home version. Just putting a new system together and while Home is less
expensive, I'll go with Pro if it provides any CPU performance pluses. I'm
aware of the other features that Pro has over Home but I never considered
dual-core processing until I bought one.......!

XP Pro supports 2 physical processors, XP Home supports one. The
processor can be dual core. Otherwise there is no difference between
Home and Pro wrt the processor.
