WinXP - can't sign on to NT domain over VPN

M

Marcus

I am trying to get to our Intranet from home using XP Pro
and Netscreen VPN. When I type the URL a "Connect to"
dialogue box pops up with the server name and domain. It
seems I have not joined the domain. On my Win98
computer, I am already on the domain and the page just
pops up. Can anyone help me understand how to resolve
this problem...

Thanks...

Joining a domain is much different than the logging into the domain
process in Windows 9x (which truly aren't domain members...). Just
specify a username in the form of DOMAIN\USERNAME and your domain
password and you will have full access to domain resources.
