WinXP and Dos problems

Hi folks

Since installing SP2 on my Windows XP Home machine, I've been unable to run
programms that use DOS or open a DOS command prompt. The error message is

C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate the
application.


Any ideas anyone?

Config.NT and Autoxec.NT are to NT's emulation of DOS as Config.sys
and Autoexec.bat are to DOS or DOS Mode. Paste the contents of these
files into your reply, and let's have a look - or try renaming them
away (e.g. to Config.NT! and Autoexec.NT! ) so they aren't active?
