Hello, We will replace an NT server that has WINS with a
W2K box. Could I backup the mdb from NT and restore to a
new bulit W2k server? Is that a tool that help to smooth
the migration?
TIA, shiyo

Unless you have a bunch of static enties in WINS, don't bother. WINS will
rebuild its own database every quickly. All you'd have to do is recreate any
static entries in the new WINS.
