WINNT.sif File

I am attempting to upgrade a Windows 2000 machine to XP. The machine was
given to me and I do not have the 2000 CD. When I run the XP setup it tells
me it can't upgrade because a critical file is missing (c:\winnt.sif). I'm
not sure where its suppose to go. Is there a patch I can down load that puts
this file where it belongs.
