Bypass winnt.sif ?

When you press f6 to load additional drivers (in this case a sata
controller) it asks you for the floppy disk, you select the driver and
continue. You can then partition the hard drive. At the time of file copy it cannot find the drivers off of the
floppy drive.

I think it is to do with the winnt.sif in the \i386. If i use a standard windows xp cd i don't get any problems. Is there a way of bypassing the winnt.sif

Standard as opposed to what?

Is this a CD you made?

so .... is what you're trying to do is get the XP install to load the SATA
drivers automatically during install? instead of being prompted? if this
is an SLP CD, you probably have the XP OPK and used WinPE to create the CD?
