WinNT error msg with XP home edition?

I am trying to tweak my internet connection and get a "Windows NT version 5.1
is not supported by this script!" I am running WinXP home Edition version
5.1.2600 SP2 on a desktop why am I getting this msg? How do I fix this?
I have also gotten the same msg trying to load kids games on the laptop also
running XP home edition. TIA
 
Windows XP is really Windows NT 5.1.

Whatever you are trying to use must be for an earlier version of Windows.
