Hello everybody,
I'm making a great effort in supporting a little network, where we have
the following configuration
The server is running win 2000 server edition
we have 6 other pc running windows NT workstation and some pc (5 more or
less) running win98SE.
Recently, some personal start bringing their laptops, really new ones
running XP Home edition.
The problem occurs when we tried to mount their personal folders (these
folders are on the pc running NT), from the laptop.
I've ensured to define in the laptop a user account with exactly the
same name and password that already exists in the domain for every user,
but when we tried, after two time, XP tries to logon as
<XP_PC_NAME>/<username> and <password> instead of <username><password>.
I also verify the IP and domain configurations on the laptop and it's OK.
Does anyone, know how to solve this problem?
Thanks,
Mario Madera
