winmail.dat error...stumped..

I am using OL200 in IMO, and I have the message format set
as 'plain text', but my attachments are still showing up
as winmail.dat. I am not using exchange, just connecting
to earthlink's pop3 servers. Any ideas?

"Additional file Winmail.dat is included in received messages that are sent
by Outlook 2000 (IMO)"

I know that my prior post says "switch to plain text" and you say you are
already using that, but the article I cite has a couple of other links in it
that may prove helpful.

Unfortunately, that didn't do anything. I changed all of
contacts properties to 'send plain text email', and I
still get it. Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Dave
