Hi,

I have the problem detailed in this MS web page, of very
high constamt CPU usage of the winlogon.exe:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;822834

I have tried updating service pack to ver.4 , but the
problem persists, even after repeatedly re-scanning using
the Windows update tool, via the MS website.

I dont have a printer and haven't recently installwd any
new hardware or software.

Any help to resolve this problem would be greatly
appreciated

How up to date is your antivirus? The Netsky virus makes a fake winlogon
file that uses up processor time like this.
