Winfax 10 causes an error on Exit of Outlook 2003!!

Hi all

Just installed Winfax 10 and since doing so, everytime I exit Outlook
2003 I get an error
"Microsoft Office Outllok has encountered a problem and needs to
close, We are sorry for this inconvenience."

I did view the report prepared for sending to MS and there was mention
of the Winfax plugin causing the problem.

Anyone know of a workaround or perhaps I need to dump Winfax!

Have you checked with Symantec yet to see if they have managed to get WinFax
10 to work with Outlook 2003? It usually takes them several months to bring
WinFax up to speed, if they ever do.

Symantec themselves have documented on their web site that Winfax 10 is not
compatible with Outlook 2003.

Thanks for the replies.

I guess that I as I purchased both packages 'off the shelf' recently,
I shouldn't assume they work together!

I'm using WF 10.02 and have not had any problems yet. Also using
Office 2003 Enterprise edition.

Other than the error message on exiting Office 2003, I don't have any
problems either - I can definately put up with it.

I thought as you were using 10.02 yours may have been a later version
but I'm using 10.03, so I guess that puts pay to that theory!

If you're using version 10.03, then I think you have a problem. There
is no version 10.03 yet.
