WinDVD 3.0 continues to freeze and stutter with XP SP2 RC2

I think this is a bug with Windows XP Home SP2 RC2: my copy of WinDVD
3.0, when playing a DVD movie, will, every minute or so, freeze up or
stutter.

what's the spec of you pc ? what other processes do you have running ?

Athlon 1.1 Ghz Athlon, 1.024 Gb of RAM, 60 GB PATA Western Digital HD. I
don't know exactly what processes I had running. I had around 30, I know.

try endtasking each process until you find the one causing the problem
do you have antivirus software running or a usb mouse ?

AV software was off and I have a PS2 mouse. I will try the endtasking
suggestion.
