Windstream.net email will not send

I get this message when I try to send email. I really need to fix this...

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Re:
ADDRESS', Account: 'windstream.net', Server: 'smtp.windstream.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 you are not allowed to send mail to
<[email protected]>', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550,
Error Number: 0x800CCC79

That error usually means that you were connected to the Internet
through a connection other than your provider (Windstream).
Are you using a laptop away from home? Port 25 connections are
generally not allowed to cross networks.

No, this is on my desktop.

So your Internet connection was being provided by Windstream
when you got that error? Do you get the same error when trying to send
to other recipients? If so, you may want to call Windstream tech support
for assistance. It looks like an issue with their SMTP mail server.

Yep, same error. I didn't used to get this error. It's only happened within
the last two weeks. I'll give them a call.
