I recently had my computer upgraded from windows ME to
XP. All of my programs are still on the computer but i
have to search to find any of them. Is there any way i
can make them come up in my programs folder when i click
start?

Thanks

Hi Allie,

Suggestion:

The values that are removed from the Run key are transferred to the
following registry key after an upgrade:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\DisabledR
unKeys

Each value that is under this key corresponds to a run item (program) that
had been disabled by Setup. The format for the values is the same as the
original values in the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

When you restore these values by using the Restore Startup Programs option,
they are moved from the registry value in DisabledRunKeys back to the Run
key.

To do so, go to Start/Run/Msconfig/Startup/Restore Startup Programs.
