WindowsXP will not start

Roblin

Dell computer, think infected with virus, will not boot
up. All that happens when starting is the WIndowsxp logo
will appear and when it starts to come on line, the
screens goes blank and that is it....anyone can help
please respond.
 
Hi

After the next reboot, keep tapping the F8 key. You may be able to access a
screen that has 'Last Known Good Configuration' as an option. Try that to
see if you can boot into Windows.
