Hi when i am trying to install WindowsDefender to my pc i keep getting
this message poping up Windows Defender Installer Information :- A
network error occurred while attempting to read from file:
C:\Documentsand Settings\windows_xp\Desktop\Windowsdefender.msi .
Another problems that occurres when i have installed windowsdefender,
is that i have to go through the installation proccess when i want to
use the defender. It does not leave a shortcut icon for a quick launch

Please post in one of the newsgroups specifically set up for the beta
(software that isn't finished and is still in the bug-checking phase)
Windows Defender program. Microsoft.public.windowsxp.general is not one of
them.

Contact the Author of the Program you are trying to run. This is NOT an
XP problem.
