WindowsBackup & "sdclt.exe /CHECKFULL"?

Running the Task Scheduler as Administrator, and looking under Task
Scheduler>Task Scheduler Library>Microsoft>Windows>WindowsBackup, I see a
task called "CheckFull" and its description stating, "This scheduled task
checks if a full backup should be run."

I'd like to know how it determines when a new full backup should be run.

Could someone provide some documentation on this?

Backup's process for deciding to do a full vs. incremental is illustrated in

I am not sure how closely this is tied to what you're seeing in Task
Scheduler though. In other words, if you kill that task, would we never
follow this flowchart? I don't have the answer to that. The Backup team's
advice is to avoid making changes directly to the scheduled task.
