im trying to find where they in the windows folder and so i can copy my custom
schemes to my winME partition, i have "show all files" enabled. thanks

They are stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel
in various sub-keys wherein also are other things.
You could rxport the above referenced hive and import it, but
you'd also get other things located there as you'll see when you
open that key. Otherwise if you can find a copy of PC mags
Display Set you could save individual schemes in its' format and
import them with it.
