Windows2000 Service Pack4

J

John

We have deployed Service Pack4 for Windows2000 Pro on
several of our computers. Some of our users which have
roaming profiles are now having problems, when roaming
profile attempts to load. After uninstalling SP4 users
roaming profile is now able to load. Any ideas on the fix.
Microsoft does not seem to have any articles on this one.

Thanks

Are you getting the following in the Event Log (Application) at shutdown?

"Source: Userenv
Category: None
Event ID: 1000
User: NT Authority/system
Details:

Windows cannot unload your registry class file. If you have a roaming
profile, your settings are not replicated. Contact your administrator.

DETAIL Access is denied. , Build number ((2195))."

Plus a slow shutdown? If so, look at KB article 828153
