windows2000 removal

how can i remove windows 2000 from my hard drive. i have
a new copy of xp i'd like to put on my drive, and normally
i'd format the harddrive through dos and reinstall. what
is the process to remove windows 2000.

Boot from the XP CD and you will be able to reformat (or delete) the
partition 2000 is on
