John

I have an issue that relates to my partners laptop
computer which used to support a wireless PC card (made
by DLink) and now I cannot get it to work no matter how
many times we have tried to re-install it. In working
with their tech support we checked to see if the Wireless
Zero Configurator Service was running and found that it
was not. I have searched high and low to find out how to
get this service back into the list and automatically
started, but can find no support documentation for it.

Have you tried setting its startup type to automatic and clicking the apply
button, then starting it? Are there any messages in the system error logs
that might shed some light on the subject?
