After I installed nortons security onto Windows XP home
computer, I cannot log onto the computer. When I log on
the desktop flashes once then it logs me off. This happens
to all user accounts. I tried safe mode, everything I know
and still I can't get into the system it keeps logging me
off.

Cut and past this url - this guy has some recommendations
on a fix - appearently its a piece of Ad-ware the changes
a Registry Value and when the Adware is removed it leave
the bit in the changed state disallowing proper logon
sequencing. Great huh...
