Windows XP

My windows XP is not loading. I cannot seem to load it.
It tells me that something was wrogn with the way it was
loading the previous time and as a consequence i cant
seem to get on. I have the windows xp cd. I want to know
how i can fix the problem, without having to delete all
my files and documents? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Follow the steps to reinstall XP. When you get to the
point where you have to choose a drive, choose the same
one as your current installation. The program will then
tell you it has detected another windows installation and
give you the option of attempting a repair or
reinstalling. Choose the repair.

 

[Guest]

Try Safe Mode (F8 or Ctrl key at computer startup)
Then try loading Last Known Good (Space bar at Windows startup)
If that works you won’t need to reinstall/repair
