I just recently built a PC. Here are the core components, AMD 64 3000+ Socket
754 processor, Asus K8N MB, 2.6 GB Ram (Kingston). I also have a really good
video card from my old PC (nVidia Quadro 4 900 AGP 128 MB ram) I work in the
CAD indusrty and this video card is awsome for what I wish t o do. My problem
is when I put th PC together and load the trial edition of X64 on it doesnt
recognize the video card. I went to nVidia and downloaded the X64 drivers,
and it gives me the error that the hardware doesnt match the driver. I tried
many others, much to my frustration. So I reformatted the disc and intalled
Windows XP pro on it and amazing, it sees the proper video card and works
great. Is this a know issue? I dont belive that I will drop the money out to
purchase the X64 version until I know my card will work properly. Thanks Dan

Off topic: I am a 64 bit user too, but cannot post on 64 bit portion of the
forum. Can you?

I didnt try,it looked like no one had posted on that forum so I opted for the
one that looked like it was used more.

Yes 64bit drivers are a problem.

Did you try Microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general news group?

Post to the x64 newsgroup using a newsreader, not the web interface.
