windows xp won't let drivers load

Hi. I'm booting up a new system and everything went good
except no mouse! I checked mouse drivers and no drivers
foune,add hardware wizard and he can't find them either,
I tried putting a drivers cd disc in and it says software
won't work with software,so I tried loading drivers off a
site put them on a cd and tried to install them and
windows says it won't work! I looked at mouse properties
and will not open properties because there are none,there
are not even the basic drivers to load any mouse of any
type! Does anyone have the anser or help to solve this?

What specific error message are you getting?
Does it say not signed by Microsoft?
