Hello,

My computer is an emachine. As of three days ago, my computer won't boot to
desktop. When I turn it on, all it shows is windows xp and the loading line
and nothing else happens. There is no sound to show the computer or windows
is going on. The computer will work on safe mode, safe mode with networking
and the other options EXCEPT the start windows normally option. I've used
system restore. I've backed up about 2 or 3 days to see if computer would go
back to normal and nothing. Have used two softwares to find viruses and such
and only found one trojan virsus which I removed. Those two softwares say
computer is running normally. Do you know what I need to do next to fix the
problem? The free help from emachines has expired. My ISP told me the
internet is running smoothly. Please. I truely need your help.

From safe mode:
Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the Video device, Action
menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the device drivers again
automatically, and restart in normal mode.
