Lets try this again! I had a short power outage while the computer was on and
I went to turn the compurt back on and Windows would not start up. Windows
would start in Safe Mode (also with Networking). So far this is what I've
tried: System Restore, failed, boot while in Safe Mode, it worked once, I ran
Hard Drive test, it failed, then repaired itself then passed, I ran sfc
/scannow, it would not scan, I've tried to boot with the XP disk, it starts,
then stops. It also will not let me get to Recovery Console, I've tried. I
also tried XP SP2 boot disk from Microsoft, it starts, then stops. I need
help. I don't know what else to try. PLEASE HELP!

cadillac, sounds like something could be blown on the MB. Have you
re-seated the RAM?

Never underestimate the problems a bad power supply can cause.
