I tried following decoder:
dvdupgrade /detect
DSlowSW
Name "GplMpgDec.ax
Company Name:....
version ...
Product Version ...
CRC32:...
VID: 0
W2k Upgrade = no
Win9x Upgrade = no
LCID= 0813

And when I insert a DVD I get the following warning:
"Please insert a disk into drive D:"?
Thanks for advice!

Yves,

See if removing the DVD-ROM drive from Device Manager helps. (Create a
System Restore point first). Then click "Scan for hardware changes" in the
Action menu.

I uninstall the DVD-ROM/CD drive and scanned for hardware changes.
I see the icon flickering on the desktop searching for dvd but after awhile
its stops.
When I open my computer and I try to open the DVD-ROM (D:) I still get "No
disk in drive"!?
Regards,
Yves

No idea, Yves. Do other data CD / DVD media work fine?
