windows xp version 5.1

The windows version 5.1 is not listed under what type of windows I am
running. I am wanting to update it but do not know which version to update.
Any suggestions? Thanks
 
Go to Start, type winver in the run box and press enter. The box that
appears will tell you if you have SP1 or SP2.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what you mean by which version. If you are
referring to XP 64-bit versus 32-bit, you most likely have 32-bit since the
64-bit is something for which a user would specifically ask when purchasing
or building a PC and is only necessary if you have a 64-bit processor.
