Windows XP upgrade

After upgrading from Win98 to WXP, found that the
permissions were messed up somehow. The system drive was
converted to NTFS but the D partition was left at FAT32.
Now all files on the "D" partition are "Read-only" and
cannot be changed. The attributes cannot even be changed
via DOS prompt.

Yes, I was incorrect - The statement should have read all "Folders"
in XP will have a Read-Only attribute.
