Windows XP Updates

I keep getting offered to download and install "Update for Background
Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) (KB883357)" which is listed as a high
priority update. Generally I only download and install "Critical" updates.

Seems as though I haven't had a critical update notification in a while.
Have "Critical" Updates now been renamed to "High Priority" Updates?

Also, is this BITS update considered necessary?

James,

The syntax has changed and as you guessed critical is not used anymore. High
Priority is used instead. If you select the custom option you will get the
opportunity to install device software ipgrades and the like.
