Windows XP update

I have had some probs with my pc and cleaned it using registry clean and
virus clean. Also removed some dodgy programs. when I updated Windows XP
there was around 50 Windows update installed, only diff is didges in the end?
Is that correct?
 
Hi,

Yes, those are the updates and hot fixes installed by Windows Update.
That's normal don't remove them.
