Windows XP Update Taking Forever

Why is the latest windows xp update taking forever to
load? Has anyone else noticed this? Why is microsoft
customer service so complicated to use? To get to this
screen I had to go through dozens of options. Hey,
microsoft, why can't you make customer service email easy
to use?

sp2? perchance. too many people believe what they read and
think they have to download it now. instead of waiting
until non-peak times ,or in a month when security patches
are out for it.
